13 Vintage Celebrity Looks

Dear style lovers,

Friday the 13th is here! To honor it, I’m giving you 13 inspiring glam vintage looks to take your mind of superstitions and right into holiday daydreaming.

Vintage has been seen on the red carpet since the early 2000s. Now that it’s trendy to be sustainable (no complaints), we see more and more vintage appearances. That only means one thing- get digging into the archives. Really thrift around any vintage shop you can get to because vintage is the next hot thing.

Finally, something that makes sense is on-trend. Realistically, it’s still very hard to get your hands on an actual vintage Chanel, let’s say. If not hard, it is cost-y. I came to justify this price in two ways. Of course, branding is a big part of it. What’s more, is that you get quality that is very hard to find anywhere today.

The couture ways of sewing are threatened by extinction. Even, if not applicable to what you manage to find. One thing is guaranteed- before clothing was made to last, now it’s made so that you need an update sooner than later. I get to wear clothes from my mom’s closet from when she was my age, while I’m doubtful my children will ever see so much of my clothes made during this last decade.

Now, without further ado, enjoy the mindful glam and let me know your take on contemporary and vintage fashion. I would love to hear if you share my views or would add something. Please, comment below.
